Better structure, better experience

I begin programming in high school with a few courses and management of a local business's website. Then in college, I was handed a static website and was told to make it dynamic so anyone could make updates to it without needing to know how to program. After lots of research, I found that the best option to accomplish this with the setup and budget for the project was to use PHP and MySQL. I didn't realize it then but I was hooked. After a few years of using plain PHP, I stumbled across Laravel. Laravel offered so much boilerplate out of the box, that I could focus on the business logic for a project instead of everything else needed. Since then it was the main tool in my arsenal.
